Michael Akinyele joined the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2016. He is the former, founding Chief Innovation Officer of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA); and the Founder and Managing Principal of the Maximizer Group, an independent advisory firm primarily advising corporations, investors, and start-up companies. Although he does not have a personal connection to lymphoma, he deeply believes in LRF’s mission and has seen its impact on countless lymphoma patients, survivors, and their loved ones. He is honored to be an LRF Director and provide his thought leadership and expertise in health care to what he describes as a very “authentic, thoughtful, inspirational and visionary” non-profit organization.
