Steven “Steve” Prince is the past Treasurer and Chair of the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors. After graduating from the Wharton School of Finance in 1971, he began his career, first in banking and then moving onto Commodities. When Steve retired in 2008, he had been Sempra Commodities’ only Chairman since its inception in 1998. Steve was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in 2003. After searching for and finding experts in the field – Drs. Kanti Rai and Morton Coleman, two longtime LRF Scientific Advisory Board members – he learned about his disease and LRF. Steve joined the LRF Board shortly after that and for the past few years has been in remission and medication-free, having benefited from drugs that LRF’s research grants help get developed and approved.
