Blood Cancer Awareness Month
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), a time to honor the millions whose lives have been affected by this disease, and spotlight the challenges and needs of individuals affected by lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that often lacks the same level of visibility as other cancers.
Due in large part to the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Advocacy Program, September was designated Blood Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) by the U.S. Congress in 2010. For 14 years, the Foundation has celebrated BCAM and World Lymphoma Awareness Day (September 15) by driving funding for research, building a stronger community of support for patients and their loved ones, and promoting vital educational initiatives that empower individuals to advocate for their health.
With our collective efforts, a future without lymphoma is within our reach. Join us during Blood Cancer Awareness Month to help us further our mission to realize the promise of science to eradicate lymphoma and serve the community touched by this disease.

Make a Commitment for a Cure
Lymphoma is a rare disease, with more than 100 individual subtypes, that often lacks the same level of visibility as other cancers. Lack of research for rare diseases, including lymphoma, can often result in delay in diagnosis or limited treatment options.
By bringing together the promise of science and the power of people, a future without lymphoma is within our reach. Help bring visibility to lymphoma by making a commitment for a cure.
