Donor Privacy Policy

The Lymphoma Research Foundation (“We” or “LRF”) has created this donor privacy policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of LRF donors.

This policy applies to all information received by LRF both online and offline and through any giving platform (“platform” includes the LRF website, social media outlets, and mobile application), as well as any written or oral communications.   

LRF collects and/or maintains the following types of donor information when it is voluntarily provided to us: 

  • Contact information such as name, address, telephone number and email address 
  • Giving information, including donation amounts and dates donated 
  • Information on events attended, mailings received, and special requests for program information 
  • Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions 

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with another entity, nor send mail to our donors on behalf of other organizations. 

To the extent any donations or donor information are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation or donor information.  

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, program participants, volunteers, and others associated with our organization.  We adhere to vigorous procedures and best practices around confidentiality and privacy including secure storage and safeguarding of documents and files with names, giving information and/or contact information of donors, securing personal and financial information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We always strive to keep data safeguarded.  

It is our desire to not send unwanted mail or email to our donors.  If a donor wishes to be removed from our mailing or email list, they are to contact or 212-349-2910.
