As we have seen this week, the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across the nation. Like you, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) is focused on the health and safety of our employees, their families, Foundation volunteers, and the patients and survivors whom we exist to serve. To help prevent the spread of coronavirus and protect the health of our community, LRF has instituted a remote staffing policy and Helpline return calls may be delayed depending on call volume – we will do our best to return calls within 24-hours.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or seeking help with long-term survivorship, LRF is here to help.

The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s support services include the Lymphoma Helpline, Clinical Trials Information Service, Patient Aid and Lymphoma Support Network.

LRF Helpline

The Lymphoma Research Foundation has a dedicated team of professionals who specialize in the hematologic malignancies.  LRF’s professionally trained Helpline staff provide individualized information on types of lymphomas, diagnostic tests, treatment options, potential side effects, and the latest in research to more than 10,000 patients and caregivers each year.

To ensure that patients have all the information they need to make the best decisions about their treatment and participate in shared decision making with their families and healthcare team, LRF Helpline staff can provide patients and their loved ones with a list of questions to ask their healthcare team. The LRF Helpline can also conduct customized clinical trial searches for patients and provide a list of potential trials and questions to discuss with one’s healthcare team.

The LRF Helpline is available to help patients and their loved ones better understand their lymphoma diagnosis so that they can feel empowered to make the most informed decisions about their treatment and long-term care.  The Helpline can also connect patients to financial assistance resources, legal, and insurance help.
