LRF Chief Executive Officer Recognized as a Leader in Healthcare

Lymphoma Research Foundation Chief Executive Officer Meghan Gutierrez was recognized as a leader in healthcare by both Crain’s New York Business and PR News.

Gutierrez was among 100 women listed in Crain’s Notable Women in Health Care 2019, recognizing her commitment to the healthcare industry and moving it toward gender equality. Similarly, Gutierrez was recognized by PR News’ 2019 Top Women in Healthcare for her leadership in healthcare communications and dedication to ensuring patients and their loved ones become their own health advocates.

According to a recent national survey by consulting firm Oliver Wyman, women make 80% of healthcare buying decisions and represent 65% of the healthcare workforce. And yet women make up only 30% of the healthcare industry’s C-suite teams and 13% of its CEOs.
