In Memory of Jerry Freundlich

Jerry Freundlich, Co-Founder, Lymphoma Research Foundation.
The Lymphoma Research Foundation deeply mourns the loss of its co-founder and champion, Jerry Freundlich.
As a result of Jerry’s personal journey with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, he and his wife Barbara founded the Foundation, recognizing the significant need to increase investment in lymphoma research and support those personally impacted by a lymphoma diagnosis. Working with the late Dr. Joseph Bertino, the Foundation was founded in the Freundlich’s home and eventually became the largest lymphoma-specific organization in the country, led by an elite Scientific Advisory Board comprised of the world’s leading lymphoma researchers and clinicians. In addition to being its co-founder, Jerry served the organization as President and Chair of the Board, Director, and most recently as a Director Emeritus.
Jerry is being remembered by his LRF family as a lymphoma survivor whose generosity and vision have impacted the lives of millions of members of the lymphoma community. The Foundation will continue this life-saving work, always remembering Jerry’s goal to see a world without lymphoma.
Per the wishes of his family, gifts made in Jerry’s memory will support the Foundation’s work to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.
