The Lymphoma Research Foundation (“We” or “the Foundation”) has created this Donor Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of the Foundation’s donors. The Donor Privacy Policy expands upon the protections outlined in our Online Privacy Policy with the protections the Foundation employs to further protect the personal information associated with donors and their financial transactions with the Foundation.

This policy applies to all information received by the Foundation both online and offline and through any giving platform (“platform” includes the Foundation’s website, social media outlets, and mobile application, as well as any additional third-party processing systems), as well as any written or oral communications.

The Foundation collects and/or maintains the following types of donor information when it is voluntarily provided to us:

• Contact information such as name, address, telephone number and email address
• Giving information, including donation amounts and dates donated 
• Information on events attended, mailings received, and special requests for program information 
• Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions 

We will not sell, share, or trade our donors’ names or personal information with another entity, nor will we send mail to our donors on behalf of other organizations.

To the extent any donations or donor information are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation or donor information.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, program participants, volunteers, and others associated with our organization. We adhere to industry-standard procedures and have administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal and financial information.

It is our desire to not send unwanted mail or email to our donors.  If a donor wishes to be removed from our mailing or email list, they are to contact privacy@lymphoma.org. 

In some states and contexts you may have rights regarding your Personal Information, including:

• The right to know what Personal Information we process about you and access that information;
• The right to request that we delete Personal Information about you;
• The right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information about you; and
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at privacy@lymphoma.org. We verify and respond to such requests in accordance with applicable law.
