Lymphoma Survivor and Executive Leader Joins Lymphoma Research Foundation Leadership

The Lymphoma Research Foundation – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services – is pleased to announce that John Roussel of Scottsdale, AZ, a lymphoma survivor and accomplished business executive, has joined its Board of Directors.
The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors is comprised of business leaders, medical professionals, and Foundation supporters from across the world who utilize their skills and expertise to further the Foundation’s mission. Foundation Directors are responsible for supporting the mission and activities of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, establishing policies and programmatic goals, and monitoring the organization’s finances.
“Having experienced a lymphoma diagnosis, I’ve seen firsthand the extraordinary impact of high-quality healthcare and cutting-edge research,” said Roussel. “I’m deeply grateful—and now deeply motivated—to help advance the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s mission so that more patients can experience the hope I was fortunate to have.”
Roussel brings to the Foundation an inspiring personal connection to the mission, having faced lymphoma twice, as well as professional expertise in strategy development and operations. His distinguished career includes C-suite roles including President and Chief Operating Officer of Shamrock Foods Company, CEO of Reinhart Foodservice, and Chief Operating Officer of Martin-Brower. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Ferraro Foods and is a strategic advisor to private equity firms, and a consultant to founders and CEOs focused on accelerating growth and profitability.
“We are thrilled to welcome John to the Foundation’s Board of Directors,” said Steven Eichberg, Chair of the Lymphoma Research Board of Directors. “His personal experience as a lymphoma thriver and his extensive leadership expertise will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate research, expand patient resources, and work toward a world free of lymphoma.”
