Lymphoma Research Foundation Welcomes Madhu Namburi to its Board of Directors

Global Financial Executive Joins Lymphoma Research Foundation Leadership

The Lymphoma Research Foundation – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services – is pleased to announce that Madhu Namburi of Hillsborough, CA, Managing Director and Co-Lead of Creation Strategy at General Catalyst, has been elected to its Board of Directors.

The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors is comprised of business leaders, medical professionals, and Foundation supporters from across the world who utilize their skills and expertise to further the Foundation’s mission. Foundation Directors are responsible for supporting the mission and activities of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, establishing policies and programmatic goals, and monitoring the organization’s finances. 

“Supporting lymphoma research and enhancing the quality of life for people with lymphoma and CLL is incredibly important to me,” said Namburi. “I greatly admire the work of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and I am honored to serve this community as a Director. I look forward to helping the Foundation advance its mission and, ultimately, find a cure.”

Namburi is the Managing Director at General Catalyst, a global venture capital firm that supports more than 800 businesses at every stage. Prior to joining General Catalyst, Namburi spent 25 years at JPMorgan, where he led Global Technology Investment Banking and served on the firm’s Investment Banking Management Committee.
