TOM GOLDSTONE
New York, NY
Tom Goldstone joined the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2015. He has worked as a journalist/TV producer since completing his graduate studies at Cornell University—first starting on the news desk and working for Peter Jennings at “World News Tonight,” then climbing up the ranks to produce stories with Barbara Walters and others at “20/20” and “Primetime Live.” Since 2003, Tom has worked at CNN, currently as the executive producer of the network’s flagship world affairs program, “Fareed Zakaria GPS.”
In September 2013, Tom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Following three months of chemotherapy and radiation, he was told there was “no evidence of recurrent lymphoma” in his body. During treatment, Tom, his wife Jennifer, and their children Max and Charlie founded “Team OpTOMism” to raise money and help find a cure for lymphoma (primarily through bike rides). In 2019, Tom and his 10-year-old son Charlie took part in the Team LRF Lymphoma Research Ride and raised nearly $10,000 to support the Foundation’s mission.
Tom also sits on the board of trustees of his grade school, The St. Bernard’s School.
