Lymphoma Research Foundation Elects Patricia Kaine to Board of Directors

The Lymphoma Research Foundation – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services – today announced the election of Patricia Kaine of Miami, FL, to its Board of Directors.

The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Board of Directors is comprised of business leaders, medical professionals, and Foundation supporters from across the world who utilize their skills and expertise to further the Foundation’s mission. Foundation Directors are responsible for supporting the mission and activities of the Lymphoma Research Foundation, establishing policies and programmatic goals, and monitoring the organization’s finances.

A dedicated care partner and advocate, Patricia brings a deep personal connection to the lymphoma community. After two close family members were diagnosed with lymphoma within four years of each other, Patricia became a passionate advocate for the lymphoma community. Her experience as a care partner offers an invaluable perspective that will help strengthen the Foundation’s initiatives to support families navigating lymphoma diagnoses and treatment.

“Patricia’s commitment to advancing lymphoma research and supporting care partners aligns seamlessly with the Foundation’s mission,” said Steven Eichberg, Chair of the Lymphoma Research Foundation Board of Directors. “Her lived experience, professional expertise, and philanthropic leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand resources for patients and their families.”

With over a decade of experience in Human Resource Management at leading healthcare institutions, including Mercy Hospital and South Miami Hospital, Patricia also brings a strong background in organizational leadership and community engagement. She is particularly interested in contributing to the enhancement of the Foundation’s resources for care partners.

“It is an honor to join the Lymphoma Research Foundation Board of Directors,” said Patricia. “As a former care partner, I know how critical the Foundation’s resources and research are to families like mine. I look forward to giving back to the community and helping shape programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.”
