The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Team LRF program is a charity partner for the McCourt Foundation Los Angeles Marathon. There will be bibs available for the 2023 Los Angeles Marathon.

The Los Angeles Marathon has become one of the largest marathons in the United States, with more than 25,000 participants, thousands of volunteers, and hundreds of thousands of spectators.

TEAM LRF ENDURANCE PERKS

Team LRF Endurance Athletes who commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 will receive:

Guaranteed entry to the 2023 Los Angeles Marathon
Exclusive Team LRF event t-shirt
Finisher medal (provided by LA Marathon)
Finish Festival entry (provided by LA Marathon)

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT
Team LRF Endurance Athletes must commit to fundraising the minimum amount in order to register. If the fundraising minimum is not met, athletes are responsible for the remaining balance.

What is an Endurance Event?

An endurance event is any event in which there is a requirement to sustain an activity level while enduring a level of physical stress. An endurance event usually requires some long-term training to be prepared for race day.

What is a Charity Partner program?

Many national and international endurance events offer a charity partner program for nonprofits by offering blocks of guaranteed entries and other benefits. Nonprofits are able to raise vital funds through athletes looking to gain entry into these sold-out premiere events. The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) partners with a variety of endurance events to encourage athletes to train and fundraise to support its mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease.

What is the fundraising minimum?

The fundraising minimum varies by event. If the fundraising minimum is not met, fundraisers are responsible for the remaining balance to meet the minimum.

Do I need to pay to participate in an Endurance Event?

Each athlete is responsible for the race registration fee (fee varies by the event).
